Ivan's POV
After talking with Grandpa for a bit more, I said goodnight and told him to take care of himself. I came out and told his caretaker to look after him. I also told them to inform me immediately if anything happens. Then, I rushed to go back to Bangalore to bring Kavya with me.
After a 2 hour tiring flight, I finally landed in Bangalore. All I wanted was to hug Kavya and have a peaceful night after all the drama. On the way home, I bought some flowers, her favorite lisianthus. I knew she might be mad because I saw many missed calls from her while I was showing her picture to Grandpa. I didn't get the chance to call her back. When I thought of calling her, I decided to surprise her instead. I knew she was already upset with me, so I wanted to come back quickly and surprise her. I know how to calm her down when she's angry.
(Author's POV: You don't know, boy, what your family did to you in 24 hours.)
I rang the doorbell, excited to see her. I expected her to open the door with her bright smile, but to my surprise, no one answered. Nevertheless, I entered the house using the password, thinking she might be sleeping since it was already midnight. But as I entered, I felt something was wrong. The house was eerily empty. It felt like something precious was missing from my life. I hurried upstairs, opening the door, but the room was also empty. Now, I was getting worried. It was midnight, and she wasn't in the room. I called her multiple times, screaming, but she didn't answer. My calls didn't go through either. It was frustrating. I sat on the bed, pulling my hair in frustration, wondering where she was and if she was safe. I started blaming myself for not picking up her calls. Maybe something happened to her, which is why she called so many times. I felt like I lost everything in my life. First Grandpa, and now she's missing.
Lost in my thoughts, I noticed a paper on the tea table. I picked it up, and my eyes widened in shock. It was a divorce paper, signed by Kavya. Fear crept over me. What happened? I knew I made a mistake by not answering her calls. Did she want to divorce me? I hurriedly went to the dressing room, only to find that everything she brought after our marriage was missing. Anger surged through me, and I called for every maid and staff to come in front of me. On the other hand, my heart is worried about Kavya. What could have happened to her? She's so innocent.

Ivan lay in his bed, his eyes bloodshot red. In his hand, there was a wine bottle, and on the floor, there were many empty bottles.
A few hours ago
, Ivan's PA brought his laptop, showing him the news that was now in the headlines.
Breaking news," the news anchor declared, "Ivan Rajvansh, the CEO of Rajvansh Industries, is set to tie the knot with Shreya Rathore, the princess of Rathore Industries."
Ivan got furious"Who the hell gave this information to the media?!" he yelled. "Contact every media house that covers this news and take it down immediately! Tell them it's all false! I want everything removed within 2 hours, or they'll face consequences!"
While this was happening, a staff member approached and said, "Sir, bani mam came with a girl, and after they left, Madam was crying."
Another staff member added, "And a courier delivered an envelope. It was from Mr. Rathore."
"What the hell are you all doing?!" Ivan shouted. "You didn't know where your madam is now? No one saw her leave the house?"
"Sorry, sir," they replied. "We weren't present at that time, so we didn't notice when she left."
"Akash, find out immediately who gave the envelope, who delivered it, and tell me!" Ivan demanded.
"Yes, sir," Akash replied.
"Now, why are you all still here? Get lost!" Ivan ordered.
Flashback to the end...
Ivan was highly drunk, constantly thinking about her - her eyes, her smile, her love, the way she walked, the sound of her laughter. Every corner of the house held memories of their romantic moments. Now, he realized her importance. She was the piece of his life; she was his everything. He loved her, he wanted her back. Tears flowed from his eyes. He wasn't usually this emotional, but right now, he cried for her. As he thought about all this, something suddenly crossed his mind...

Flashback:
It was a Sunday afternoon, Ivan and Kavya had lunch and were now resting. Kavya was lying on Ivan's body, and Ivan's hand was moving through her hair.
They were chatting when Kavya shared something with Ivan. "You know I love nature. If someday you can't find me, always remember I will be at Nandi Hills."
"You're just telling me a secret so I can find you if you try to hide from me," Ivan said playfully, tracing Kavya's cheek.
"That's why I told you, so you can find me. Or are you so dumb you can't even find me?" replied Kavya, teasing him.
"Really? Now see what I do to you," Ivan said, hopping over her, playfully pinning her beneath him and tickling her. The room was filled with laughter.
Flashback end:
Iven smiled thinking about their moment, and sleep took over him...
