**Ivan's POV**

It's been weeks since Bani's death. The incident was a disaster, leaving everyone heartbroken, especially my uncle. He loved her so much, and he is devastated to learn that Bani, whom he thought was a good person at heart, turned out to be bad.

On the other hand, my father has been glaring at me more often since the incident. I warned him that if he tries anything, it will only make things worse. His silence told me he got the message, and I don't care about it anymore. If he even tries to do anything, I will give him a more cruel death.

Today is a big day for me. It's my grandpa's birthday and the inauguration of our new hotel. Grandpa is excited, not because of the hotel, but because he will finally meet Kavya, my love.

Kavya has been eager to meet my family too. I didn't bring her to Bani's funeral because I can't risk anything now as I don't want anything to happen to her because of my own deeds. But today is different. Kavya has been worrying about what to wear and how to act, wanting to make a good impression. Her nervousness is cute, and I can't help but laugh at her.

I've been busy managing everything for today. So far, everything is perfect. The highlight of the evening will be introducing Kavya to my only family. She’s the light in my life, and I hope she can bring some joy to the old man also. He has been waiting for this moment, a bright spot in a dark time for our family. Kavya will meet everyone tonight, and despite the lingering sadness, I hope her presence will bring some happiness back into our lives.

As I was waiting for her downstairs, she came down looking absolutely fuckable

Kavya was wearing a maroon red saree, her hair half-open with a middle part, filled with sindoor, and her natural pink lips flushed with a small red bindi adorning her forehead. She looked stunning, and I wanted to be with her right then and there, but sadly I couldn't. I couldn't take my eyes off her. I was so mesmerized that I almost forgot we had to leave.

I reached out my hand to her, and she shyly took it.

"Ready?" I asked.

Kavya just nodded.

"Don't be nervous. It's going to be okay," I reassured her.

We stepped out of the car upon arriving at the banquet hall. As we entered, we saw grandpa. As soon as he saw us, his face lit up with excitement.

"Grandpa, meet your granddaughter-in-law, Kavya Ivan Rajvansh," I said proudly.

Kavya bent down and touched grandpa's feet. "God bless you, child," he said warmly.

They talked for a while, and then I introduced her to my friends and their partners. Soon, the girls formed their own group and started chatting among themselves. I returned to grandpa.

Grandpa smiled at me and said, "I really like Kavya. She has such a fun personality. Don't let her bubbly nature fade away. Always respect her and take care of each other."

I nodded and smiled, knowing how much Kavya meant to me. I didn’t know what grandpa had talked to her about, but afterward, I noticed a new confidence in Kavya’s demeanor. She was glowing.

Throughout the evening, I kept checking to see if Kavya was comfortable. Every now and then, I caught her glancing at me from the side, and when she noticed me looking, she would smile. Her confidence and comfort made me feel even more at ease.

**Kavya's POV**

I was excited but also very nervous. Ivan kept assuring me everything would be alright, but I couldn't help worrying. It was my first time meeting my in-laws, and I wanted to make a great first impression because it's always the most important one.

After getting ready, I walked down the stairs and saw Ivan staring at me. I knew what he was thinking, but there wasn't time for that now; we had to leave.

When we arrived at the banquet hall, I saw an elderly man who looked quite handsome for his age, with a strong presence like Ivan. I took his blessing, and he blessed me warmly. After some time, I found myself chatting with grandpa.

"Beta, I want to tell you something," grandpa said. "Ivan looks strong on the outside, but his heart is still like a child's. He didn't have a good childhood because of his parents. I tried to give him the best memories I could. I know it might be hard living with him because of his temper, but take care of each other. Give him the best family life he never had. And if anything happens, feel free to tell me. Remember, he might be the CEO of Rajvansh Group, but you are the CEO of the house. You have your own power here."

I nodded with a soft smile. I knew everything about Ivan's past, which Ivan had shared with me. I also wanted to give Ivan the family life he deserved because I knew he'd be a great father, just like he became the best husband.

You know, one thing I realized after living with him is that if a boy wants to change himself for his girl, he will change by himself. Girls can't change them. That's their own decision. If a girl could change them, then my mom could have done it, but she couldn't.

The day continued, and grandpa even shared his wish to see grandchildren before he dies. I blushed at his words.

After some time, Ivan returned and introduced me to his friends and their girlfriends. They were all nice, and soon the girls formed their own group, chatting about various things. The boys did the same. I kept noticing Ivan looking at me, checking if I was comfortable. His thoughtfulness made me feel so happy.

As I watched him, I thought about how my life had become so beautiful after marriage. I never imagined I would be this happy, but now I am. And now, I'm just waiting for tonight.
